Registered Nurse (RN) or Registered Diagnostic Medical Stenographer (RDMS)

This position requires a responsible and well-trained professional able to give the best care with little supervision. Each medical professional will be part of a team which provides support and care to the clinic clients. She will maintain a professional standard of care. The medical professional will work in conjunction with the staff of the medical clinic or mobile center (as applicable) to ensure that clients are receiving the best medical, psychological, and spiritual care possible. A RN untrained in sonography will be fully trained to complete abdominal and transvaginal ultrasounds. All will be required to complete an annual competency assessment.
The medical professional will be responsible for a variety of duties related to client care, procuring abdominal and transvaginal ultrasounds, providing client resources, completion of client visits, assessment documentation and follow-up post-appointment.

The RN will also be responsible for the maintenance of all laboratory-related records and ensuring that the medical policies and procedures and infection control policies are adhered to and implemented.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Appropriate active and unincumbered licensure granted by the State of Florida, Department of Health, Division of Medical Quality Assurance, as applicable
  2. The ability to read, write and communicate in English.
  3. The ability to read, write and communicate in Spanish would be an advantage but is not a requirement.
  4. A certificate in BLS
  5. All certifications and registrations must be maintained, active and current.
  6. A minimum of 3 years relevant experience. OB/GYN experience is desirable.
  7. Be willing to participate in activities that promote professional self-growth and development, meeting the minimum requirements for continuing education.
  8. Knowledge of how to use a computer is a requirement.
  9. A commitment to Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior with a passion for ministry, women, and the Life issue
  10. Full agreement with Coastal Choices Women’s Clinic Mission and Statement of Faith, Statement of Principle, and policies and procedures of the clinic.

Corporate Administrative Assistant

This position is in DeLand & will require 20 hours per week performing behind-the-scenes type of work (not working with our clients) to keep Coastal Choices open to offer abortion alternatives & the Gospel. This position would require you to work at our Corporate Office in DeLand. It requires someone who can read & follow instructions & who has experience in personal or business financial records using some type of computer software. The position needs someone who is computer savvy & an aptitude for picking up computer work quickly. Also needed are: ability to multi-task, recent & excellent computer skills (especially internet & recent Word, Excel, & Publisher experience). QuickBooks experience a plus!

Clinic Services Director

Clinic Services Director is responsible for ensuring the successful day to day clinical operations & delivery of client services within the Coastal Choices Women’s Clinic locations. The job will be 36-40 hours per week with travel between our New Smyrna Beach, DeLand, & Mobile Unit locations. This position is for a mature Christian who is very knowledgeable in the Word of God, as it relates to matters of life & living.

Coastal Choices Women’s Clinic does not perform or refer for abortion services, nor will it be permitted from any of the clinics or offices.

The Client Services Director is responsible for ensuring the successful day to day clinical operations & delivery of client services within the Coastal Choices Women’s Clinic Locations.  The Client Services Director will be primarily responsible for overseeing the operational efficiency & quality of the clinic staff & operations, including the direct supervision of the Clinic Managers, Administrative Assistants, & Volunteers.  Where necessary the Client Services Director will intervene in staff related issues if those issues are unresolved & involve the direct report & the staff member.

The Client Services Director will lead efforts to improve quality outcomes & clinic operations in a way that contributes to an enhanced experience for staff & clients.  The Client Services Director will oversee the functioning of key systems vital to clinic operations & the management of clinic flow. 

The Client Services Director will lead & facilitate key process improvements in client access measures, clinic flow, quality improvement & client experience. 

The Client Services Director supervises, hires, transfers, promotes, assigns, rewards, counsels, disciplines & discharges appropriate clinic employees.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Preferably 3-5 years of management or supervisory experience in healthcare or medical setting
  2. College degree or equivalent work experience
  3. The ability to read, write & communicate in English.
  4. The ability to read, write & communicate in Spanish would be an advantage but is not a requirement.
  5. CPR certified or willingness to fulfill requirement.
  6. All certifications & registrations must be maintained, active & current. 
  7. The ability to embrace, manage diversity & build & maintain successful teams.
  8. Effective problem solving & ability to analyze & use data for decision making.
  9. Interact with people & develop positive relationships while being tactful, respectful & direct in communications.
  10. Demonstrates leadership skills of critical thinking, conflict management, negotiation & motivation.
  11. Fosters goals of teambuilding with clinic staff. 
  12. Demonstrate appropriate delegation & coordination of tasks & duties in the operations of the clinic using appropriate organization/priority setting skills.
  13. Knowledge of how to use a computer is a requirement.
  14. The ability to work in & be able to pull reports from the EMR system
  15. Be willing to participate in activities that promote professional self-growth & development, meeting the minimum requirements for continuing education.

Ability to work flexible & extended hours, when necessary, & travel between sites as needed.
